well i am sorry to say that the description of Japan that you are giving is completely true. first thing you said Love is a verb and we need to do it but you should also consider love is a abstract thing also. you need to feel it also. i agree that there may be some cultural variation in Japan and west, i felt that so, as i am an Indian. but considering that, not many parent in west say &quot;gammbatte&quot; (do your best) also. So does this mean that parents in west don&#039;t care. well it will be very absurd to say so.
Japan love in Japanese way and west in western way, we cannot say which is right or which is good. just because your expectation do not meet. does not mean they are loveless
and again we are not smart enough to understand love
