Tokyo is a giant of a city that never sleeps populated by hundreds of cute Japanese girls. I had an American friend whom I worked with. He would take a hand tally counter on his lunch break and walk around food courts and malls clicking his counter every time he saw a hot Japanese girl. He would come back with hundreds of clicks and gives us descriptions of the most sexy ones.  He loved his lunch breaks. I must confess I was quite overwhelmed and happy with the number of attractive Japanese girls I would see walking around everyday. So Tokyo really is like a playground with hundreds of girls to court and “play” with.  I would often meet girls at cafes of print club arcades. There is term to describe girl hunting called “nampa” in Japan.  It was quite easy to win a little attention and score a date.

How to Score a Date
Japanese girls feel safer in numbers. I would always score dates and get phone numbers when meeting girls in groups.  I would go to print club arcades and restaurants to meet girls. Knowing how to speak Japanese helped greatly. Also, complimenting their appearance and smile would break the ice and make them feel special  . Compliments is something Japanese girls don’t generally hear from Japanese guys. You can also play the naive foreigner wanting to explore Japan.
I will discuss dating Japanese girls in more detail in my next post. But for now,  start learning a little Japanese. If you do bump into a cute Japanese girl, but can’t speak Japanese express an interest in Japanese culture and that could get the ball rolling.

When dating Japanese girls one thing you must keep in mind is cultural differences. Many girls will not say they have boyfriends unless they are asked. Some will also lie about their relationship status. Japanese don’t consider this as being dishonest. It is just the way Japanese are. They like to reveal little about themselves. Building trust can take a long time. They may avoid personal questions and direct focus on you. Try to be accommodating in this regard.

It is important to keep in mind that very few Japanese girls have had intimate relationships with non-Japanese. In fact, very few Japanese have foreign friends. So naturally they may be somewhat timid about dating you. However, they will be curious about you and how you behave. If you treat them with respect and make them feel very special this will work in your favor.  Also, Japanese women appreciate courtesy from a man. Most Japanese men lack the social skills to do this, so use this to you advantage. Make Japanese girls laugh and feel comfortable and they will be happy to date you.

To really impress a Japanese girl you should share what you know of Japan. Also, take an interest in Japanese culture. Ask questions about Japan and the Japanese lifestyle. Your date will be happy to answer your questions. As the focus will be off them it will make conversation easy. Don’t say any negative things about Japan. Avoid taboo subjects such as the war and controversial issues such as whaling. Keep everything positive.

Avoid hugging or touching in public when dating Japanese girls. In Japan, expressing affection and love is frowned upon. Avoid this out all cost as it will put your date in an uncomfortable public situation. Japanese girls are generally subservient. They like men to make decisions and take control. You should plan your dates to include few surprises. Don’t just meet and decide what to do. Take time a plan a fun date and things will go smoothly.

Yumiko Shaku – Another model turn actress Yumiko has a huge fun base.  Loves anime and martial arts.
Miho Toshioka – A race queen/model turned actress who has appeared in a Godzilla movie. She recently married a former cross dressing rock star.
Erina Yamaguchi – A new bikini idol. As all can say is she is getting a huge fan base with her “J-cup” sized breasts.
Mika Orihara – a race queen and bikini model. She has a cute child like voice.
Junko Fukuda – a cute and sexy bikini model. She appears on a strange late night TV show called the Miniskirt Police
